Alteration Docket Types

In PalletWatch reports you may see different docket types, some of which relate to corrections and rejections.  They are:
  1. Transfer - normal docket.
  2. Reversal - reversal of a normal docket.
  3. Correction - correction of a normal docket, e.g. date, quantity, etc.
  4. Rejection - rejection of a normal docket.
  5. Replacement - reinstatement of a normal docket.

Corrections

To correct a normal docket it must have a reversal so docket types involved in a correction would be:
Transfer
Reversal
Correction

Rejections

A rejection would have two docket types:
Transfer
Rejection

Reinstatement

If a rejected docket is to be reinstated then docket types would be:
Transfer
Rejection
Replacement

It should be noted that reinstatements of transfer off dockets need to be authorised to the pallet hire companies by the trading partner who initially rejected the transfer.  Reinstatements of Transfer Offs (Replacements) must be followed with your trading partners.  They will not be resolved simply by creating a reinstatement (replacement) transaction.

Time Frames

Hire companies have time limits as to when they will process different docket types.  Click on the link below for more information:
