CHEP Docket Number Format
CHEP docket numbers need to be thirteen digits. System generated docket numbers must also use a docket number prefix provided by CHEP. This prefix needs to be sent to
support@palletwatch.com.au so that it can be set up in PalletWatch.
If you accidentally raise a docket that does not have the correct prefix then CHEP will send an email advising:
"CHEP does not accept docket numbers in this format"
If you get this message then you should do the following:
- Search for the docket in Data/Dockets.
- Click on the dropdown arrow to the left of the docket number and select Clear Export.
- Click on the Edit button.
- Copy the docket number and paste it into the Notes and Reconcile Notes field stating that this docket is a replacement for the original docket number.
- Click on the Manual button in the Docket No. field.
- Click the Update button.
- Click Cancel.
- Click the Print button and save the docket copy somewhere.
- Click Edit.
- Click on the Send Email button towards the bottom of the screen.
- Enter the receiver's email address if it is not in the To field.
- Write the message explaining what happened.
- Attach the copy of the new docket in the file attachment field.
- Click Send.

Docket History
