CHEP Docket Number Format

CHEP docket numbers need to be thirteen digits.  System generated docket numbers must also use a docket number prefix provided by CHEP.  This prefix needs to be sent to support@palletwatch.com.au so that it can be set up in PalletWatch.

If you accidentally raise a docket that does not have the correct prefix then CHEP will send an email advising:

"CHEP does not accept docket numbers in this format"

If you get this message then you should do the following:
  1. Search for the docket in Data/Dockets.
  2. Click on the dropdown arrow to the left of the docket number and select Clear Export.
  3. Click on the Edit button.
  4. Copy the docket number and paste it into the Notes and Reconcile Notes field stating that this docket is a replacement for the original docket number.
  5. Click on the Manual button in the Docket No. field.
  6. Click the Update button.
  7. Click Cancel.
  8. Click the Print button and save the docket copy somewhere.
  9. Click Edit.
  10. Click on the Send Email button towards the bottom of the screen.
  11. Enter the receiver's email address if it is not in the To field.
  12. Write the message explaining what happened.
  13. Attach the copy of the new docket in the file attachment field.
  14. Click Send.
