Edit Docket

You can use the filters to bring up one docket or a range of dockets.  The buttons at the left of each docket lets you perform a number of actions:
  • Edit - lets you change the details of the docket.  There are some things to note.  If the docket has been exported or invoiced then you may not be able to edit it.  This will depend on the level of your permissions.  If the docket has been exported or invoiced then the Edit button will let you create a correction but only if your permissions allow it.  Note that the correction must be done within the time limits of the pallet hire companies.  You can also edit a docket by right clicking the mouse and selecting the option to open link in new tab.
If your permissions allow you can edit a docket that has been exported but not invoiced.  To do this click on the down arrow next to the docket number and select "Clear Export".  You can then edit or cancel the docket.  If the docket is not cancelled then it will automatically re-export.

  • Print - lets you print a docket.

  • Notes - the blue box will display a number if notes have been made.  The number indicates the number of notes.  To enter a note just click on the blue button.  These notes are for your purposes only.  They do not appear on the docket.

  • The drop down box next to the docket number has a number of options:

    - Clone lets you create a docket similar to the one you have clicked the Clone button on.
    - History/Linked/Invoice Dockets provides an audit trail and other information.
    - Cancel lets you cancel the docket.  It will require you to enter a reason for the cancellation.  If the docket has been exported or invoiced then a rejection will be created.  Note that the rejection must be done within the time limits of the pallet hire companies.
    - Force Export - marks the docket for export.  PalletWatch exports transfers off automatically but you can force a docket to be exported if you select this option.
