Export Frequency

Export Frequency

You can set how often you want to export to CHEP and Loscam by doing the following:
  1. Go to Data\Account Setup.
  2. Click on Hire Companies tab.
  3. Select Export Frequency.
  4. Export Delay is how many days delay you want to set.  E.g. if you set Export Frequency to Daily and then put 1 in Export Delay then if you enter a docket today it will not export that docket for another day.  This gives you a chance to edit the docket before it exports.  Once it is exported you can no longer edit it - you would have to do a correction.
  5. Click the Save button.
Please note that regardless of the above setting PalletWatch will always export at the end of the billing period.  You can turn this off by doing the following:
  1. Untick the "Always Export At End Of Billing Period" checkbox.
It should be noted that there are risks in delaying your exports, these include:
  1. Your trading partner may cease operating.
  2. The pallet hire company may stop processing transactions with that trading partner.
  3. Your trading partner may have time restrictions as to how old they will accept transfers without penalty.
  4. Equipment hire companies have time limits for processing transfers.
  5. You may upset trading partners as a large amount of aged transfers to their account could adversely affect their cash flow.
