Issue

Issue

An Issue is when you receive empty equipment fromCHEP or Loscam.

Issue Order
Pallet hire companies require you to provide a docket when ordering empty equipment from them.  In the case of CHEP they require the equipment to be ordered via their MyCHEP online system.  It is important when ordering empty equipment from the pallet hire companies that an Issue Order is raised in PalletWatch.  In the case of Loscam this docket is normally emailed to the Loscam depot where the equipment is to be delivered from.  In the case of CHEP their online ordering process through MyCHEP is sufficient.

Issue
When the equipment is received from the pallet hire company the driver should provide your receiving staff with an Issue docket.  This docket should be keyed into PalletWatch.

Cancelling an Issue Order
When an Issue docket is received ideally the corresponding Issue Order number should be entered into the Reference 1 or Reference 2 field.  The Issue Order docket can then either be cancelled or if the Issue docket is not keyed but is imported from CHEP or Loscam then the Issue Order can be matched with the Issue docket.  A docket can be cancelled by going to Data in the main menu and then Dockets.
