Match Rate
PalletWatch measures every import from hire companies against what has been entered. It displays this as a percentage on the Actions/Reconcile Invoices page and also on the Reconcile Report. There are two main reasons why PalletWatch will not automatically match, these are:
- Missing docket - PalletWatch can not find the imported docket in the database. This would be due to it either not being entered, the docket number has been entered incorrectly or a trading partner has made a rejection or correction to your docket. When you click on the Reconcile button these dockets display an orange icon at the left of the docket.
- Mismatch - A docket has been entered but some details do not match the imported movement. When you click on the Reconcile button these dockets display a green icon at the left of the docket.
Ideally, match rates should be in excess of 95%. This means that the pallet controller only has to reconcile 5% of the import.
To improve your match rate may require some dialogue with your trading partners, e.g. if dates are consistently wrong or dockets are being rejected then efforts should be made to remedy this so that they do not keep re-occurring. You can find some information on which of your trading partners are involved in corrections or rejections by going to Actions/Analyse Alterations.
