Missing Trading Partner in Custom Import File

There can be times when a custom import file is imported and it contains a transaction where the trading partner is not in PalletWatch.  This can be identified in the Data/Imports screen when you click on the Log button at the left of the import file record.

The docket with the problem will be at the top of the list of dockets imported.  The message will say "Could not find Receiver Site undefined with code undefined".

To rectify this please do the following:
  1. Copy the docket number that has the problem.
  2. Click on the Download button on the file record row.
  3. Save the file to a folder.
  4. Right click on the file and open it as a Notepad file.
  5. Hold down the Ctrl key and press the F key to Search.
  6. Paste the docket number in the Search box.
  7. The docket number will contain Sending and Receiving account numbers.
  8. Copy the Receiving account number,
  9. Go to Data/Trading Partners.
  10. Click on the "Add new Trading Partner" button.
  11. Paste the account number in to the Account No. field.  Leave the Name field blank.
  12. Click Search.
  13. If the Trading Partner's details appear, click on it and then click Save.
  14. If the Trading Partner does not appear then Add a New Trading Partner.
  15. Once you have added the trading partner then go to Data/Imports.
  16. Select the Importer and drop the file into the field with a dotted line border or select a file to upload.
