Offset Docket

Offset Docket

Offset Docket

There may be times when you need a dehire or a transfer off docket to be used to reduce an owed equipment balance.

If you decide to use the Offset function you need to do the following:
  1. Go to Data\Account Setup.
  2. In Settings click in the Enabled Features field and select "Offsetting".

Offset Dehire

Your trading partner could return empty equipment to a CHEP or Loscam depot instead of returning the empty equipment to you.  Your trading partner would ask the CHEP or Loscam depot to raise the Dehire docket off your account.
In Create Docket when you enter the Dehire docket you would tick the Create Non Hire Offset box.

Offset Transfer

Your trading partner may rise a transfer off your account to their account rather than return empty equipment to you.
In Create Docket when you enter the Transfer Off docket you would tick the Create Non Hire Offset box.  In this case no physical pallets are moved - it is used only to reduce your trading partner's owed balance to you.
