Trusted Trading Partner

Trusted Trading Partner

Trusted Trading Partner

You can save some time on data entry by using the Trusted Trading Partner feature in PalletWatch.  This feature can be turned on or off by doing the following:
  1. Go to Data/Trading Partners.
  2. Tick the Trusted checkbox.

Confirm Receipts

By ticking this box it means that any of your trading partners who uses PalletWatch will have their dockets immediately appear in Actions/Confirm Receipts.  Instead of keying the docket you could just tick "Confirm".  Please note that you cannot do a correction or rejection from this screen.  You could either tick Confirm so that it appears in Data/Dockets and then you can correct or reject it from there or you can leave it and deal with the docket through the normal reconciliation process.

Create Docket

There is also a time saving when you are using the Create Docket screen.  As you type the docket number PalletWatch will check if your "trusted" trading partner has entered the docket.

If the docket has not been entered by your trading partner then a box at the right of the docket number screen will display "Not found".  N.B. this only applies to PalletWatch dockets entered by trusted trading partners.  It will not find dockets that are already in the database entered by "non-trusted". trading partners.

If the docket has been entered by your "trusted" trading partner then the "Load" box will display at the right of the docket number field and PalletWatch will load all other details entered by the "trusted" trading partner.  These details should be checked against your records and/or the docket you received thus saving your the time of keying all the other details in.
