Sign and Send - Site

PalletWatch has the functionality for dockets to be signed on glass on mobile devices and thus provide a proof of delivery.  It would generally be used for Off dockets.  There are two versions - one for sites and one for carriers.  Tnis article deals with the one for sites.  Sign and send or sign on glass could have a major impact on minimising equipment losses caused by users being unable to locate signed pallet dockets when a transfer off docket is rejected by others.  Sign and Send is an optional extra and additional charges could apply.  If you would like to use the sign on glass function then please raise a ticket from the Help button found on PalletWatch pages.

The way that sign on glass can be used is by the user logging into PalletWatch on a mobile device.  It is assumed that the the mobile device can access the PalletWatch website.  There are two options:
  1. Create the docket on a desktop computer and then use sign and send on a mobile device such as a tablet.
  2. Create the docket on the mobile device and use sign and send.

Existing Docket

If the docket has already been created then the user can do the following on a mobile device:
  1. Do to Data/Dockets on the menu.
  2. Click Search and dockets will appear, the most recently raised one will be at the top of the list.
  3. Click Edit.

  5. The driver should use his finger or a stylus to write his/her signature and then type their name in the Signee's Name field.

  7. Click Send.
