Trading Partner External Code

Trading Partner codes can be used for a number of reasons, one of these being to facilitate imports from other systems, e.g. your warehouse management system may have a code which identifies your trading partners.  If the Trading Partner code is added to PalletWatch against the relevant trading partner then the importer will be able to process the import.  Trading partner codes do not need to be used if your system includes CHEP or Loscam account numbers in the import file.

You can add codes to trading partners by doing the following:
  1. Go to Data\Trading Partners.
  2. Click Edit against the Trading Partner.
  3. Enter the trading partner code in the External Codes field.
  4. Click Save.
Please note trading partner codes must be unique within your account.
