Clear Owed Balances

If you want to clear owed equipment balances please do the following:
  1. Run an Owed Equipment Summary Report or, if only one trading partner, run an Owed Equipment Report.
  2. Take note of the owed balance.
  3. If the other trading partner owes you the equipment then raise a Non Hire Movement On for the balance quantity.
  4. If  you owe the equipment to a trading partner then raise a Non Hire Movement Off for the balance quantity.
  5. In either case you should make an entry in the Reconcile Notes to indicate the reason for cancelling the outstanding owed balance.
